What is a Digital Twin?

A digital twin is a digital recreation of an existing real life space.

For film and TV production, this is an architecturally accurate, photorealistic 3D CAD model built from an on-set or on-location LiDAR laser scan survey.

At Preevue, we are specialists at building Digital Twins from LiDAR scans. These Digital Twins are industry-standard, production-ready 3D models that can be opened in all standard CAD and modelling suites including 3DS Max, Maya, Houdini and Nuke, and game engines including Unity and Unreal Engine.
